THE SWEETNESS...! Perhaps, you have a pack of St.Louis sugar and mistakenly or intentionally left two cubes on the dinning table; what happens when you return to the table in the next few hours? You discover that the two cubes of sugar have attracted ants...ISNT IT? Would you now say because of the ants battling with the two cubes of sugar, youll throw the whole pack of sugar away? NO! The best you can do is: To discard the ones that have been feasted on by the ants, look for a way of destroying the ants and cleaning the table, and find a way of preventing more ants either by pouring the other cubes of sugar in a more protective container and making sure no other one is dropped carelessly! Without the sugary substance, there might have been no ants...but the SWEETNESS attracted the ANTS! Im not happy, Im worried, Im fed up!.. Am I the only one...why do I have to face these great challenges at my age? Has God changed?...Are those questions found on your lips? Dont think too far, the reason is not far-fetched! Its because of the anointing of greatness upon you! We both know that the devil wouldnt waste his time on someone that has no seed of greatness in him/her; his targets are always the anointed ones; his aim is to find a way of hindering such individual from attaining that height of greatness! The Anointing of Greatness that God has released upon you, will definitely attract attacks; The Blessings will definitely attract battles; the Canaan land that God is taking you to, will definitely attract contending forces. So dont be surprised, dont be discouraged! My dear brothers/sisters, knowing all these, what do we then do? Do we chicken-out OR stand up and face these giants? We dare not back out, because GREATER IS HE that is in us than he that is in the world. Our Sweetness will definitely attract ants; we dare not give up at the sight of this, but must destroy/eradicate such ants with the powerful insecticide we have. David also had similar experience; immediately after God anointed him to be king in 1Samuel 16, his anointing attracted a goliath just in the next chapter 17...but he faced goliath and said in verse 46: This day will the Lord deliver thee into mine hand; and I will smite thee, and take thine head from thee...that all the earth may know that there is a God in Israel. With God on his side, David conquered, subdued and prevailed! WE WILL ALSO PREVAIL! So beloved, relax; no water can swallow your ship as long as the Master of Ocean is present there, youll get to the shore safely! Isaiah 43:1-3 says: When thou passest through the waters, I will be with thee;...when thou walkest through the fire, thou shalt not be burned;... For I am the Lord thy God, the Holy One of Israel, thy Saviour.. As we go this week: lets pray more, study Gods Word, live a holy life and make those confessions of faith! Lets believe Gods promises and see it come to pass! WE ARE ALREADY OVERCOMERS! Our testimonies are on the way and it shall be complete in JESUS NAME-Amen. Do have a victorious week!
