THE SYMPHONY OF THE RAIN ;) It’s quiet inside, I’m listening through the windows what the rain is singing to me from outside. It’s raining for a few hours, now. The sky is gloomy and the air is pressing. The thunders are unleashing their fury in clogged, low, strong or acute sounds. Arrows of light are crossing along the skies, seeming to be sparks from between the clouds. I can’t help remembering the legends and the beloved Viking Gods. ...it seems that the patron Thor is angry and, in his fight with enemies which we cannot see, he throws and hits with his marvelous hammer. I like the idea that through its phenomenons the rain can be associated with a God. I think it gives it a sort of very well deserved nobility. Water is life and the rain in it’s own way is a bringer of life. I love the rain in a very particular way. I like to see it, to hear it, I like to feel it, to enjoy it and the feeling of rebirth that comes with it, leaving only freshness everywhere. I like the rain because I find it brave, but also majestic and miraculous. It’s born in the high of the skies and it throws itself in life with thousands of crazy jumps, leaving its drops on the wings of the wind to be carried towards the earth in a graceful and elegant dance. With its tune and rhythm, the wind completes what I call the song played by the rain. The symphony that’s sung through all its drops which on their way come to be shattered into notes on an all surrounding musical sheet. Drops that have their own songs which, like the swans from the legend, they are singing just before ending their journey, every one of them as if trying to have a more beautiful and special song than all the others. The tree leaves are swinging the rain letting themselves bent under its weight, the flowers caress it with their beautiful petals, letting their delicate faces to be washed by its drops, the earth embraces it receiving the life it brings. Rain washes, cures, gives life and nourishes it. Wipes the dust, clears the sky, leaving behind only the sun and a rainbow. ...I think I’m going to go embrace it myself for a little while. ...let it wash away all my worries only to leave me instead with a rainbow in my soul and a smile upon my face.
