For Babylon the great is fallen, and has become the habitations of devils, and the hold of every foul spirit, and the cage of every unclean and hateful bird. Revelation 18: 2. Have we ever stop and think, how there are so many religions in the world, yet immorality is high, crime is on the increase, prayers seem to be ascending daily to God, but lifestyles, conditions and situations seem not to get any better, but appears to be worsening day by day. Our hope my friends lie in our God, for he is a Savior in time of trouble: jeremiah 14:8. Friends, loved ones,God wants to hearken unto him – for if we shall humble ourselves, and pray, and seek God’s face, and turn from our wicked ways, then God will hear from heaven, and will forgive our sins, and heal our land: 2nd Chronicles 7:14. No doubt we need God to forgive us and heal our land; Jeremiah 33:6-11; Jeremiah 30: 17:22. God is going to do this much for us because he is a father to Israel: Jeremiah 31:9. The Lord is asking us today to return; and he will save us, though he makes a full end of the Nations, he will not make a full end of Israel his people; Jeremiah30:11:16. Once we acknowledge God in all our ways he will direct our path: Proverbs 3:6; and even in a time of great trouble he will save us out of it: Jeremiah 30:7; for we will come to realise our Lord God and will serve him: Jeremiah 30:9. Once we return unto God with our whole heart he will do well for us; Jeremiah 24:6-7. My friends we must understand that although God pleads to the nations throughout the world to sak them to return unto him, what we will realise is that only a remnant shall return: Isaiah 10:20-21. What is clear to us is that even though the children of Israel be as the sand of the sea, only a remnant shall return Isaiah 10:22. Is it this remnant GOD is gathering today: Jeremiah 23:3-6. At no time God was concerned with the multitude; When Jesus walked the earth, though multitudes followed they did so merely for fishes and loaves and when that failed so was their faith. But whom he trusted, that remnant, the twelve Apostles St. Matthew 10:5-6. In the days of Noah the multitude drowned, only eight souls were saved, a remnant, 2nd Peter 2:5 In the days of Neb-u-chad-nez’zar King of Babylon, while the world paid obedience to Neb-u-chad-nez’zar’s golden imagine, a remnant did not bow nor worship- it was sha’drach Me’shach and A-bed’-ne-go, these three men feared God; and were convinced that he was able to deliver them Daniel 3:16-18 As I close dear friends, like these great men of old did, that is, they took a stand for God, let us therefore in like manner do likewise. Let us take a stand for God and he will cause us to cleave to him, Jeremiah 13:11. When we return to GOD, he will blot out our transgressions: Isaiah 44:21-22; and will cause us to arise, and shine: Isaiah 60:1, and will give us what man cannot in his best effort do for us,that is give us riches and wealth: Isaiah 60:10-16 and health Isaiah 58:8, even salvation St. John 4:22. The good news my friends is that the remnant that will return shall again take root downwards and bear fruit upward: Isaiah 37:31. And once we return to God he will allow us to have our minds stayed on Him, he will keep us in perfect peace because we trust in him; Isaiah 26:3-4. after reading please share.
