THE THORN BIRD EFFECT..............(series on Brokenness) Good Psalmists and worship leaders are trained by God thru much brokenness in their lives so that they can experience the THORN BIRD EFFECT..........AND BE EFFECTIVE IN THE WORSHIP MINISTRY!!!! (King David in the wilderness and the cave) The Thorn Bird is a kind of bird found in Australia that lives among the thorn bushes and when it is old and knows that it is going to die.....it will go to the thorn bush and push its body into the thorns and die.........BUT BEFORE THAT IT WILL SING FORTH ITS FINALE SONG AND IT IS THE MOST BEAUTIFUL SONG THE BIRD HAS EVER SUNG.....OUT OF THE BROKENNESS OF ITS HEART.........and those who have heard that song will know that it is the thorn birds last song....... It is thru the brokenness of the heart that the sweet fragrance of worship will be like sweet incense unto God.....out of the hopelessness, helplessness and despair that we find trust in HIM........And out of a contrite heart comes the deep recesses of our emotions being release in worship...........as deep calls out to deep..... My Master Maker has chosen me to sit in a cage....... I can chose desperately to dart across the cage to find an opening and break my wings in despair or I can sing and sing and sing until my song touches someones heart and experience and find liberty in my soul.............. Thank You God I have chosen to sing and all these years my security in in You!!!!
