THE THREE EENCOUNTERS - TopicsExpress

THE THREE EENCOUNTERS The fateful travel over the broken hills, Often with fear extreme, my heart fills; Sudden face of certain imminent death, A truck hit our car to hold life breath; Our car staring down at river below, Wheels on edge, hearts quivering low; We stood stranded at farewell bends, Our hearts could feel our drastic ends; Hands of few reached us well in time, To save our lives in youth fresh prime; Working men had come to the rescue, To donate us life that was fresh anew. Months elapsed and then another day, Descending a hill with heart joyous gay; The weather was calm, cool and cuisine, A sudden short slip over needles of pine; I felt myself racing towards the life hell, My heart rang aloud a sound death knell; A long slide creating several faces of fuss, Somehow I managed to get hold of rhus; A hill shrub sample, simple and common, Provided a save, so incredible uncommon; Among the purity of pines glossy with dew, I survived as the fascinated fortunate few. Years after that, in a forest deep and dense, At midnight and during darkness so intense; Three leopards standing in a glowing glade, All in the vicinity of a thick dark grass blade; In an utter thrill, I anxiously alighted my jeep, Through the electronic zoom began to peep; One of them appeared in a mode of offence, I immediately retreated in a natural defence; Terrified by that venture valuable and in vain, My heart felt an instantaneous peerless pain; Lifeless stood my heart, without any call clue, A brave daring friend, changed the inner view. A foreteller’s prophesy several unit years old, That danger shall twice suddenly open unfold, And may prove extremely fatal at third strike, But I managed to survive the third one alike; The encounters flow eternal in my mind veins, To augur and augment my mysterious strains; They together preach to face death in the eyes, With hearts as open as the expanse of the skies; Joyful thoughts daring or intense and immense, Displace or replace all the moments too tense, Life is more alluring and heart much stronger, Heart loves and enjoys to walk, talk and ponder.
