THE TRAGIC STORY OF INDIAN SEAFARER 6 Indian seamen(2 Haryana,2 Punjab & 2 U.P.) paid 4 lacs to get job & the agent sent them to IRAN.The agent committed that it would a tanker vessel but it was a scrap vessel which is used in smuggling.The salary promised by the agent was 400 $ but the actual salary was 150 $.This is not enough they have to work as a slave over there without food & water.If anyone refused or asked to go back home they will be beaten by Irani. This was the worst time of our seamen then suddenly they were caught red-handed at KHASAB (DARGAN) during smuggling by Irani Coast Guard & they started firing on all the crews of that vessel. 1 Indian seaman (Punjab) was shot & dead during this firing.The rest of 5 Indian (2 Haryana,2 U.P. & 1 Punjab) seamen are in Iran Jail for 36 months imprisonment for smuggling case. Who is responsible for this incident...? 1.Our seamen who paid such a huge amount for making their career. 2.Fake agents who sent them Iran. We request all seamen dont go for sailing in Iran it happens usually in Iran. You are here to make your career not to spoil your life. Its my humble request to all of seamen brothers dont go to IRAN.
