THE UNDERWOOD PENTIUM - Model Nr. 1 A Steampunk Time Machine This unique Steampunk Computer is based on an UNDERWOOD STANDARD Typewriter Model Nr. 3 from 1927. The used Typewriter was sold by the Swiss Company Erwin Lötscher at Hirschengraben in Luzern during 1928 and was discovered on a flea market near Zurich. The PENTIUM panel-PC was found abandoned in a trash container. It was produced from ADVANTECH with the model name PPC-103T at the beginning of the 21. century. Its powered by an INTEL PENTIUM III Copermine processor with 666MHz and is working with a Random-Acess Memory of 64 Megabytes. The mainboard is equipped with a Sound Blaster Audio device, an Ethernet controller and two USB connectors. The UNDERWOOD PENTIUM is running with the operation system WINDOWS 98 FE, using the fantastic Steampunk icons designed by the artist Samantha Wright.
