THE VIRTUOUS CYCLE Do one little thing for your health and fitness today. Just one little step. One teeny tiny little step is all that it takes. The shortest of workouts, let’s say. A few minutes of sweat. Because when you take one little step towards a healthier life, it feels good. Your body be all like, “Damn. I like this. I think I want to take another step. I might just take another step. So then you take another step. Step 2. Wow. This step felt even better than my last.” 2 steps. 2 teeny tiny little steps and already Im feeling better. THIS IS FUN GAME. Tomorrow I’m going to take another step. I might just take a step towards eating better. Not a big step. Just a little step. A small stride. The tiniest of victories. 3 steps is all I’ve taken and already Im feeling like a champ. “BRING IT ON WORLD. I’M A STEPPING MACHINE. 3 little steps. 3 teeny tiny little step. I might have another. I want another. I want a fourth. Okay, let’s calm down. 4 steps is a lot of steps. But it’s only one tiny step more. One teeny tiny little step more. OKAY OKAY. I’M CRAZY. I’M GONNA GO FOR IT. JUST ONE LITTLE STEP MORE. And a 4th step is taken. OH HOW LOVELY THIS 4TH STEP IS. And so the journey continues, steps piling one atop the other. Tiny steps. But important steps. Momentum building steps. THE MOMENTUM OF SUCCESS. And days turn into weeks. And weeks turn into years. And years turn into, “HOLY SHIT. LOOK HOW FAR I’VE COME.” All because TODAY, you took ONE TINY STEP.
