THE WORD OF FAITH Even though faith attracts the presence of God, - TopicsExpress

THE WORD OF FAITH Even though faith attracts the presence of God, faith still prefers the word of God more than the presence of God: Occasionally faith told God, ‘I just need your word, not necessarily your presence’. Infact, it is because of faith God went into hiding or into invisible presence, and just released his word for us to live by. This is the word of Faith: “Do not say in your heart, ‘Who shall ascend into heaven? (That is, to bring Christ down from above:) Or, who shall descend into the deep? (That is, to bring up Christ again from the dead.) The word is near you, even in your mouth, and in your heart: that is, the word of faith, which we preach; that if you shall confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus, and shall believe in your heart that God has raised him from the dead, you shall be saved. For with the heart man believes unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation. For the scripture says, ‘Whosoever believes on him shall not be ashamed’’”. (Romans 10:6-11) What you should take from that for now is, ‘The word of Faith makes it unnecessary for Christ to physically come from heaven or from the grave before you know it is done; rather only the word is enough’. To demonstrate this, let us employ the Centurion (Military Commander) The Centurion said to Jesus, “Though I am not worthy to have your presence which is great honour to me, yet I just need you to say the word and my servant will be healed; for I am a man under authority, having servants under me, who do whatever I command by just words”. And Jesus marveled and said, He has never found such great faith in Israel (Matthew 8:5-13). Can the word of Christ do what Christ will do for you? Between his presence and his word, which do you regard more?
