THE contractor working on the three stretches of the Kapiri Mposhi road to Lusaka, doesn’t seem to be moving at the expected pace. Seriously speaking, there hasn’t been any visible progress even after the provision of detour routes. I may speak as a lay person but I think that is too short a stretch to take so many months. I am saying this because in comparison, there is remarkable progress everyday by the contractors working on relatively longer routes in Ndola. Unless there is a special technical reason, like other motorists, I have reason to worry because that is a very important route, and if the rains fall soon, that place will be a mess. I know for sure that Government is committed to seeing roads finished in good time, therefore, RDA must visit that place and explain to the motorists what really is going on.
