THEME: WHY I BEGOT YOU Reading: Psalms 127:4 As arrows are in the hand of a mighty man; so are children of the youth. There are two categories of human beings; The people of God and the children of God. Regardless of all things, whether you believe God exists or denies such a plain truth, you qualify to be His people, but to become His child, He must beget you first. He must say, You are my son, today I have begotten you (Ps 2:7). The work of a child is to fight his fathers enemies. This is one thing that so many children do not know. From Genesis, God set the precedence of sons when He declared of His Son saying, ...her Seed ... Shall bruise thy head... (Gen 3:15). It is the work of the children of God to fight and defeat His enemy, the devil. And that is why He has given us; we who are sons, authority over demons and devils. We are the arrows, in His hand!! That is why I keep saying, IT IS NOT ABOUT BEING EMPLOYED, IT IS ALL ABOUT BEING DEPLOYED! Many people wander to and fro looking for employment; even getting angry at God due to lack of the same. Instead, they should ask God to deploy them. I came to tell you this morning, that as long as you are a child of God, you are in His hand! Even uf it looks like Hes taking too long to shoot you with His bow, you are still in His hand! Yeah! And when its your time, He will deploy you. I came to tell you that you are a weapon of mass destruction, waiting for deployment and not employment. Every child that one begets, is like an arrow in his hand. The greatest joy of my father, would be to see me defeat his enemy (or enemies). For instance, if my father never went to school, ignorance would be his enemy, hence, he would do all he can to take me to school. By me going to school, I will have defeated his enemy! If I went to school bare-feet (which I actually did), lack will be my mortal enemy, and I will make sure my son doesnt lack a thing as he goes to school! If I see him wearing shoes as early as hes born, I will know that he has defeated my enemy!! It is a shame for a child to be killed be the same thing that killed his father!! That is why, all those who will not defeat the devil in this life will be thrown out of heaven. In short, judgment day will be on who or who didnt defeat His Fathers enemy!! No wonder the bible says, ...the wicked will not stand the day of judgment...(Ps 1:5) Because, the wicked are not the children of God, it is the children of God that will stand the day of judgment, Because they will have to explain what went right or wrong after their deployment!! And now to my children and to my sons, if you will not defeat my enemy (or enemies), YOU ARE A DISGRACE! You have to become better than your father! Even Jesus told us that, Those who believe in me (my begotten), these things I do they shall do, and MORE THAN THESE I DO, they shall do! Thats why Im preaching on social platforms; Jesus didnt, did He? Heheheee ... And one way of assuring your father that you are defeating his enemy is by showing him. Buy him a suit every now and then, build him a better house if you can, send them some handouts from time to time; which reminds I have so many sons ... Or so they call themselves, but the much I hear from them is, Amen! God bless you pastor/dad/mentor/teacher. You cant bless your father!!! It is your father who is supposed to bless you! So, however much you say, God, bless you it remains more of a wish than a prayer. And how do fathers bless?? Check out the case of Isaac to his sons Jacob and Esau. Go and get your father something sweet to eat. After he is full, even if he just says Bless you while drunk, you will be blessed. Thats why we give God an offering! Every parents joy is to see their child in a job, that way, the child will not be destroyed by his parents enemies and also their hope is that, that job will enable the child fetch blessings from them by giving back to them. Because blessings are not given they are transferred to the child worthy of them. Thats why and how Jacob surpassed Esau. Not because He needs it!! But because we want Him to eat our sweat, see we have defeated His enemy, and say, bless you my child. We need to be wise and not just be wise, but also do what the wise do. Him who God blesses, no man can curse. It means, that there are those whom He blesses and those whom He blesses not. Sons and daughters ... Dont make your fathers only wish upon you. Verily, verily I tell you, every God bless you your father says on an empty stomach or on a full stomach that was not caused by you, (read my lips) IS JUST A WISH! Hungry prophets only curse, when Elijah was hungry, he became suicidal ... It took an angel to cook for him. God understood he was not tired of ministry but just hungry. When Jesus was hungry, He cursed a fig tree until it dried from its roots. That same day, He took a whip and beat people black and blue in the temple!! Heheheee ... Hungry prophets are very dangerous. Now, if you were born, you know your responsibility. Rise up to your responsibility sons and daughters of the Most High. Rise up to your responsibility sons and daughters. Rise up to your responsibility my sons and daughters. Prayer for today: Dear LORD, I have discovered that I am an arrow in your hand. From today I look forward to my deployment. That I may defeat your enemies. May the enemies of my father fall down under my lethal sting. Show me ways oh LORD to make my father happy enough to proclaim an effective blessing over my life every now and then. In Jesus Mighty name. Shalom and keep the faith.
