THERE ARE MANY SOURCES OF GRIT, WHICH ONES MORE EFFECTIVE? Ive been talking about Grit like an old broken record, but theres always one question that occasionally shuts me up: how do I know if my source of grit can sustain me all the way to success? This question bugs me because it examines intentions, and judges whether a good or bad intention are equally good enough to drive someone to succeed. Is wanting to become rich enough to fuel ones grit vs. wanting to change the world to become a better place? I wanted it because I wanted to showcase Filipino talent. I wanted to improve myself as a better marketer and salesman leading to a full entrepreneur. Looking at this study, I had stronger internal motive vs. the instrumental motive (which, dont get me wrong are very nice things to have also) Read more here: nytimes/2014/07/06/opinion/sunday/the-secret-of-effective-motivation.html?smid=fb-share&_r=0 Crediting my friend, Jaze Ebreo, for sharing this article on his FB feed!
