THERE ARE PROTESTS AND THERE ARE PROTESTS As events show in the universe today, the NUMBER of people that gather to protest any common cause isnt much a factor as the RESOLVE of the people so gathered The best and most excellent protests were still those wired by Mahatma Gandhi and later popularised by Martin Luther King Jnr. But we should never let it be lost on us as a people that Osama bin laden too led a protest...a protest of unprecedented carnage that makes mockery of a combination of IRA, PKK, Basque Separatism etc A protest of universal reach and acclaim A protest that changed the world...the whole world A protest of incubated violence and seasoned terror I would choose Mother Theresa over both Mahatma Gandhi and Martin Luther King Jnr. In her own protests, she went about tending to the sick, the depressed, the unwanted, the disadvantaged...the forgotten While some converge and sing revolution and redemption songs, some fly aeroplanes into buildings...and some, touch the leprous affectionately The boldest placard that anyone can brandish is that, that is written on the cardboard of compassion by a marker of hope The folk who invented polio vaccines even went a step further than The Mother Theresa Because without his invention, Mother Theresas compassion would have killed her easily, quickly...there would have been a world filled with polio sufferers... ...and a soul as ultra-super-human as Theresas would die at once, at such sight [my God-given destiny is my protest for peace and prosperity in the universe]
