THERE HAS BEEN TERRITORIAL DISPLACEMENT IN OUR DOMAIN RECENTLY: Since she was a little pup, Trina has had her own bed in our bedroom in the one corner of the room. Last night someone else was occupying it and Trina slept on the bare floor by l-o-rs side until I left the room this morning. Our visitor- Tiger heart- doesnt understand the pecking order of authority and ownership, I guess- so he decided to find a more comfortable place to spend his sleeping hours- right in the middle of Trinas bed....AND TRINA PUT UP NO FUSS!!!... Its amazing what dogs endure... When she is out in her yard and the pit bull from next door tries to get into it, Trina wages all kind of war to keep the intruder out.... But the little less-than-year-old kitty takes over her cherished sleeping quarters. I am not so sure that heart would get away with trying the same downstairs in Trinas cage. I have seen cats go in and out of that, but never when Trina is around...
