THEY WILL COME BY MARTIN BECK NWORAH As a student of Nnamdi - TopicsExpress

THEY WILL COME BY MARTIN BECK NWORAH As a student of Nnamdi Azikiwe University,I have the special privilege of living in a community of young people who share big dreams and aspirations for the future. When you meet an average Nigerian student,he/she will waste no time in telling you the big plans for the future and how willing theyre ready to commit all for a better and brighter future. I share these dreams too and I have gone ahead to convince others to start dreaming as well. But can positive dreams of a better future make the present better? No! Its like telling a poor man to download pictures of beautiful mansions and enjoy the sight in the hope that he will owe one some day without any work. To my fellow young people, they will come. Everything good that we have ever wished for will certainly come. But our part is to continuously work smart and make use of the opportunities that we have now. Have fun, party, drink away and get as many hangovers as possible, but in all of these;let your mind not stray away from the grand prize. You can live while youre young, but know that consequences abound for every positive or negative input that we make today. My name is Martin Beck Nworah and I strongly believe in us. I am so much excited about you and I want you to succeed in all ways that is good. Our talents, when fully harnessed, will give us the greatest definition of who we are and make us happy. Everything good, better and best will surely come. But we need to believe in one another, grow our empathy and believe that we can start from today,to be the change we seek in the world. I will do my part. When the opportunity arises,Ill use the strength of my pen and voice to lead my fellow youths to a place where they only see in their dreams. There is still hope. I believe they will come. I know everything that weve ever dreamed of having will come. Keep the faith;they will come. Till we get to the Promised Land,I shall be waiting for when you will pass me a glass of water and thank God for the gift of grace for the race. MBN.
