THIS EMAIL WAS SENT FROM ROBERT SMITH TOWN MANAGER OF WINDERMERE BELOW IT IS MY RESPONSE TO THE RENT INCREASE. ROBERT CAN NOT SEE WHO THIS EMAIL WENT TOO BUT IT WENT OUT TO ALL OF THE TRUCKS IN CENTRAL FLORIDA. ========================================================================================================================= Dear Sir or Madam, It has been brought to our attention that you are declining the recent invitation to participate in the Town of Windermere’s November Food Truck Event (“Light up Windermere”). From what was represented to Staff, this is a result of the reservation fee being increased from $95 to $150. If this is correct please confirm. If this is incorrect please let us know the reasoning for the declination as this may have an impact on future invitations. Regards, Robert Smith Town Manager Town of Windermere 614 Main St. Windermere, FL 34786 [email protected] Cell: (407) 797-5004 Main: (407) 876-2563 x24 Fax: (407) 876-0103 ========================================================================================================================= CRAVE PROMOTIONS CORP. / FOOD TRUCK BREAKOUT. / WILD LLC / CITY EATS LLC RESPONSE: Dear Mr. Smith While I have no proof of what the cost of the event that your town puts on I know it is not even close to 2400.00 thats 150.00 x 16 trucks just in case you did not add it up. While I am a food truck event coordinator myself and I have the most busiest food truck events in Central Florida to date, I do not join your Idea in raising the rent of the food trucks for no apparent reason, I do not condone your work ethics in this matter and never will as it looks like your board members and you included are out only for money and not that of the community, or food trucks that are coming to support the community for their enjoyment KEYWORD ROBERT in case your a little slow that means the community in which you work for. You have not offered any reason as to this increase, you have not offered anything in return for this rent increase EX: a band, a movie, a mobile DJ etc... every month you charge 150.00 per truck, furthermore you are going to be a virus to the food truck events put on around Central Florida when you are charging 150.00 per truck and the other venues are getting 50.00 - 75.00 per truck except special functions, these other venues will stand up and say Windermere is charging 150.00 why cant we charge that amount. Then all of the food trucks will suffer to more rent increases by the venues and promoters. I sir run food truck events to support the communities that would like to experience a fun family social foodie atmosphere, I too have a food truck I bring to my events But I too rotate out of my events so no I am not in it to make money as all the money I collect from these trucks for rent goes straight to the venue itself I have receipts to prove that..... do you have receipts for where our rent goes?, unlike you and your Clan who likes to hurt community functions for your own filling of pockets. Boards like the one you belong to fail time after time for getting greedy like this, from what I hear the food truck event is the only event in windermere that is successful but it is not that of your doing I know because I was the one who suggested to Doug to talk to the board about a food truck event in Windermere long ago. As for your threat of not getting an invite to windermere food truck event ever again because I dont support your rent increase you can stick it right up your A$$ and rotate. this threat that you have sent me in email which will now see all my 5400 followers on facebook by sayingQUOTEplease let us know the reasoning for the declination as this may have an impact on future invitations. END QUOTE, is not appreciated and on that note I will be looking into having a food truck event in Windermere Downtown on private property If your threats to me just now are not recanted and you apologize for your email. Believe me Robert you will no longer have your precious food truck event in windermere as the food trucks will stand together and not have any part in your rent increase You dont know me or what I am capable of doing as far as seeing your food truck event fail even more than it already has by having our own in Windermere on private property which is backed and governed by the constitution. I await your apology Thank you Jimmy Crave Promotions Corp. - Food Truck Breakout - Wild LLC- City Eats Truck LLC
