THIS IS A PUBLIC ADVISORY FROM THE MINISTER OF FINANCE, INVESTMENT & TRADE, HON. CHARLES W. MISICK The Ministry of Finance, Investment and Trade has been working for many months preparing a strategy for economic recovery. As part of this work, the Government is now finalising the budget for the upcoming financial year 2014/15. Projections continue to pose a challenge until the turnaround in public finances is completed in 2016. The Minister Hon. Charles W. Misick will present the Government’s plans for reform and economic recovery to the community at a number of meetings around the Turks and Caicos Islands. His presentation is intended to initiate a dialogue on the proposed measures to achieve the Turks and Caicos Islands Government’s goal of building a prosperous nation. The initial programme of meetings is as follows: Monday, 17th March at 7.00 pm Public Meeting, Leeward, Provo Wesley Methodist School Auditorium, Leeward Palms Tuesday, 18th March at 6.30 pm Business Community, Provo Gustavus Lightbourne Sports Centre Wednesday 19th March at 7 pm Public Meeting, Grand Turk H.J.R.H.S.
