THIS IS GREAT NEWS! Just got this email.... Dear Tiffany Thanks to your quick response and advocacy, the Massachusetts Senate adopted an amendment that will help bring the voices of cancer patients suffering from pain to the table! A bill was filed to help address the opioid abuse epidemic in the state. While we agree that something should be done to deal with this issue, we do not want cancer patients suffering from pain to feel the consequences. Your Senators heard you and agreed to add a physician specializing in pain management to a commission created in the bill. This will help to ensure that the needs of cancer patients and others dealing with chronic disease and pain are addressed. Thank you again for taking action on behalf of cancer patients across the Commonwealth!
