THIS IS NOT A YAF EVENT: Please email vicky.allington@gmail, subject ‘audition/ workshop’ AUDITION/ WORKSHOP Physical theatre- Training in Viewpoints and Devising. Casting call for all students (actors, dancers, musicians) age 15+ to participate in a 3 hour viewpoints and devising workshop. This is a valuable opportunity to gain training in ensemble work, physical theatre techniques, and devising. This is a workshop in its own right, however, selected actors will be asked to continue to participate in an original performance piece ‘The Loneliest Whale’; a play exploring why we feel so disconnected, despite living in the era of ‘constant connection’ via social media and advancing technology. The piece will be performed in the JCCAC’s professional black box theatre in June. Actors will form an ensemble, and will work with original script to devise the final product. If successful, actors will be asked to commit to twice- weekly rehearsals, min 2hrs, 4-6.30pm.
