THIS IS THE PURE TRUTH BUT DO NOT BE ANGRY IDOLS AND WORSHIP The first commandment condemns polytheism. Requires the man not to believe in other gods to the one true God. And not to worship other gods to the one God. Writing constantly reminds this rejection of the idols, gold and silver, the handiwork of men, which have mouth and do not speak, eyes and not see... These vain idols make vain He worships them: As they will be those who invest, how many they put their trust (salt 115, 4-5.8; cf. Is 44, 9-20;) Jr 10, 1-16; DN 14, 1-30; BA-6; SB 13, 1-15, 19). God, on the other hand, is the living God (Jos 3, 10; Salt 42, 3, etc.), which it gives life and takes part in the story. Idolatry does not refer only to the false cults of paganism. It is a constant temptation to faith. It consists of deifying what is not God. There are idolatry from the moment man honor and reverence to a God creature. It is gods or demons (e.g. Satanism), power, pleasure, race, ancestors, State, money, etc. You can not serve God and Mammon, says Jesus (Mt 6: 24). Many martyrs have been killed for not worshiping the beast (Ap 13-14), refusing even to simulate his cult. Idolatry rejects single Señorío de Dios; It is, therefore, incompatible with the divine divine communion (cf. Gal 5: 20; 5, 5 EF). Human life unifies in the worship of the Unico Dios. The commandment to worship the Lord only gives unit man and saves it from an infinite dispersion. Idolatry is a perversion of the innate religious sense in man. The idolatry is that applies to anything, instead of God, the indestructible notion of God
