THIS IS WHAT MY CASE AGAINST THE EMBASSY OF NIGERIA HAS BEEN - TopicsExpress

THIS IS WHAT MY CASE AGAINST THE EMBASSY OF NIGERIA HAS BEEN ABOUT: I represented the Embassy of Nigeria and the Government of Nigeria for 8 years in the US. During that period, I was the only lawyer the Nigerian Government used in the United States for its litigated cases in America. They hired me to represent General Abdulsalami Abukar in the wrongful death case brought by the Abiola family. I got the Government to settle and pay money to the Abiola Family. I also represented them in all other cases, very serious cases, all over the United States. In the American courts, I defended Nigeria so passionately that many judges got upset with me. I was told that Nigeria was a corrupt country, filled with criminals and crooks. I argued that Nigeria was a country with much promise and with good people. I urged the Americans and the world to give Nigeria a chance. Throughout the time that I was counsel to Nigerian Government in America, I never lost a single case. Despite my good work, Nigerian Government never treated me well. First, they wanted to abuse me by trying to get me involved in the fight between President Obasanjo and his Vice President. Also, they tried to use me in bribing Justice James Ogebe in order for him not to nullify Yar’Adua’s election. When I turned their requests down, I became their enemy. At the same time, a new Ambassador came and decided to embezzle millions of dollars I had realized for the country in the course of my handling their real estate transactions in the US. To cover the theft of the money, Ambassador Ade Adefuye, Nigeria’s Ambassador to Washington, falsely accused me of unlawfully withholding the 1.5 millions dollars they had paid my firm in fees. To stop me from exposing them, Adefuye connived with Farida Waziri, the then Head of the EFCC, to detain me in Nigeria under false pretenses. The same Adefuye hired Omoyele Sowore, publisher of Sahara Reporters, and his staff Okey Ndibe, and recently some funny Nigerian woman to accuse me of stealing the same fees that were paid to my firm. They have called me a thief and they lied against me online, ganging up against me, using Sahara Reporters and Premium Times to lie against me. But I always knew the truth would come out someday. The Nigerian Senate now seems to want to investigate what happened to the 30 million dollars that I realized and handed over to the Embassy of Nigeria in Washinton. If they call on me, I would reveal things that would shock this country. I will expose the massive corruption that I have known of since 2001, when I began to represent them, till today. I would prove that most of the monies Nigerian Government recovered from Abacha accounts overseas were immediately re-embezzled by Nigerian Government officials. Much of that money was never returned to Nigeria. It moved from Abacha’s account to some other accounts all overseas, sometimes in the same banks. I am not afraid to die for these things or for the truth. But I will fight at every corner, at every stage and at every spot until justice is done. The link below may help you know more about the missing money, embezzled by Ambassador Adefuye and his friends in Government. ginainternationalnewsagency/27m-missing-in-nigerian-embassy-in-us/
