THIS JUST IN: -Friday, Nov. 28: There is a planned Civil Demonstration scheduled to begin at the CPX Gate, sometime between 6 a.m.-4 p.m., by 300 members of the Paengseong Merchants Association (PMA), Pyeongtaek Emergency Planning Committee, Manpower Committee, Construction License Committee, and Labor Union of Construction Heavy. Demonstrations are expected at the front of CPX Gate, Anjeong-ri, Dongchang-ri, and the Program Management Office (PMO). Participants are expected to gather in front of the CPX Gate for the demonstration and will march to the PMO Gate (Nae-ri Gate) through Anjeong-ri and Dongchang-ri, with songs and banners. Humphreys Community members should know that there is the possibility that the Directorate of Emergency Service will close the CPX and Limited Use Gates and re-route traffic to the Quarry and West Construction Gates, if required (if there is a risk to the installation or personnel exiting the installation) and resume normal operations as soon as protestors have departed the area.
