This is Grants Dad and we wanted to give everyone an update on what we know. Unfortunately, we still dont have any answers. We talked to the Pathologist today who performed the autopsy and everything continues to come up with no answers. We continue to do additional tests to find or eliminate other possible cause. As soon as we have some answers, well share with everyone. Lately, we had or going to have heart tests done on our 2 daughters as well as ourselves to eliminate any familia concerns if they exists. So far all those tests are negative as well. Which is good news but doesnt get us any closer to get an answer to what happened to Grant. We are not aware of any heart related death on either side of the family. I havent been able to sleep much the past month. So, Ive spent a great deal of time online researching something called Sudden Cardiac Arrest. We dont know if Grant died from SCA but something caused his heart to stop. Some parents have been very concerned because their children have a headache and Grant had a headache the night before and the morning before his death. All the information Ive read, his headache had nothing to do with his death. If he died from SCA, a headache is not one of the symptom.
