THIS MAY BE THE LAST TIME The last score of Hibakusha testimonies have come primarily from the large collection published in 2005 by the Japanese newspaper Asahi Shimbun. But it is only now that I am looking for parent and teach survivors, that I have noticed that there are no -- zero -- testimonies, of survivors who were older than 26. This means that by 2020, live testimony from survivors who were older than 11 will have also faded away. This means our effort in 2015 with survivors who were between the ages 5 and 11, may be the last time they are strong enough to travel for over three months and then attend a major anniversary, in this case the 70th. We absolutely must all help them get their final warning out to humanity. The title of this post may remind you of a Rolling Stones song from the 1960s.
