THIS PAGE IS RUN BY IGBOS AND WE DO NOT SUPPORT EMEKA UGWUONYE. HE HAS A LONG HISTORY OF BEING A NUISANCE TO SOCIETY. EVEN BANISHED FROM HIS VILLAGE FOR 8 YEARS AND ALSO BANNED FROM STEPPING INTO THE EZEAGU L.G.A PLACES BECUASE HIS LIES WERE JUST TOO OFFENSIVE. THE ONLY IGBO WHO SUPPORT EMEKA, ALL 3 OF THEM ARE THE LOST CAUSES OF THE IBOLAND. - aDMIN On Apr 26, 2013, at 5:18 PM, Ozodi Osuji wrote: LESSONS FROM SOME FOLKS RESPONSE TO THE VERDICT ON THE EMEKA UGWUONYE SUIT I carefully read the verdict of a United States District Court on the Emeka Ugwuonye versus Nigerian Embassy, Washington DC civil law suit. The verdict is very clear. The Court found that Emeka Ugwuonye is in possession of what belongs to the people of Nigeria ; it ruled that he is to return it to the people of Nigeria . I am assuming that most of the said $1.55 million dollars has been spent and would not be returned. I am further assuming that after a reasonable time has passed the Nigerian Embassy would return to Court and tell it that the money hasn’t been returned. I am assuming that at that juncture the Court would require whatever Emeka Ugwuonye has to be sold to help defray the said amount he is said to owe the people of Nigeria . I am further assuming that Emeka Ugwuonye in the meantime would liquidate his property holdings in the United States of America and transfer the money to other countries to avoid USA sheriffs taking possession of such properties (if he is stupid, he would transfer the proceeds to Nigeria…you know what they say, thieves think that they are smart but they always trip themselves…if such money is transferred to Nigeria the Nigerians would take it). The salient point is that available evidence indicates that Nigeria would not regain much of the money owed it; perhaps she would not even get a penny from Emeka Ugwuonye! Since this is a civil, not criminal case, I am assuming that Emeka Ugwuonye may avoid going to jail. He was probably thinking along those lines, that he would not go to jail hence his audacity in taking what does not belong to him. However, since he now has a judgment against him for appropriating his client’s moneys his professional ethics is impugned and that is sufficient reason to bar him from practicing law. Is this man still practicing law; is he even a lawyer for a lawyer would not engage in the shenanigan this man engages in; his story reads like what one would expect from a brain dead, two penny thief, not from a learned gentleman (as attorneys call themselves)?. What intrigues me, however, is how some of Emeka Ugwuonye’s kinfolk are here making arguments to the effect that he won the case! This is very fascinating for it finally helped me to understand that these people have such closed minds that they would not allow facts to penetrate their minds. These people would call black white if it serves their interests to do so. I now know that they cannot be changed. All my efforts trying to get them to see that they are deluded were wasted, for like deluded paranoid personalities they are not amenable to reason! In twenty-five years of working as a psychotherapist I have no single case whereby I changed the mind of one deluded person.Go ask any psychiatrist or psychologist if he or she has had success changing the minds of deluded persons and he would tell you no. As a result, generally mental health professionals assume that deluded, paranoid persons cannot be helped and just leave them to wallow in their beliefs in what is not true as true. I have learned. I will no longer try to get these deluded characters to see light; I would do what my colleagues do: allow them to live with their delusion disorder. You cannot change paranoid and anti social personalities. We just hope that they commit crimes and judges send them to prisons and jails and that is all there is to them . Lesson learned and case closed. I move on and will no longer concern myself with these people’s issues; they are too daft to learn and change their sick ways. > > Ozodi Osuji > April 26, 2013
