THIS SUNDAY at 9pm on Channel 4, FARGO. Why is this a thing? Fargo is made by the Coen Brothers, and they make the best movies ever. The Big Lebowski, True Grit, No Country for old men, Millars Crossing, A Serious Man, Barton Think, Oh Brother where art thou? and... FARGO (and some others) Fargo is a quiet town in the most northern part of America where everyone has simple lives and speak with funny accents. It follows a series of unfortunate events that spiral out of control including kidnapping, 7 murders and a $2.2 million ransom that gets lost. All the events that unfold are inspired by true stories from in and around the actual town of Fargo, the Coens took these individual true life stories and weaved them into one singular plot. The end result was a movie most wouldnt think of as real, but all of its individual parts are actually very real. This twisting of the fabric of reality was something never done before.
