THIS is why I plan to go back to Haiti in June! (This video has the kids at the Project House of Hope Orphanage, too. As well as those good people who help with the project.) The people of Haiti or so loving, playful and happy...despite the hard times that many of them encounter on a daily basis. There arent luxuries like dishwashers, air conditioning, washing machines & dyers. There isnt wifi in their homes, nor 2-5 TVs per home. Families dont have cars, clean water coming right into their homes, nor flushable toilets inside their homes...to name a few things. Yet, from my experience, they are a people of smiles, hugs, and unconditional love to foreigners who come to visit or help. LOVE this video by Kristen Lee...have a look! It will make you smile :)
