THIS morning, tiny little wings lifted our baby Kenny on his way - TopicsExpress

THIS morning, tiny little wings lifted our baby Kenny on his way to becoming another Angel at the Rainbow Bridge. Arriving on 19 December into BAWCS care, Kenny was estimated to be around 4 weeks old and didnt weigh very much at all. He set about changing that with feed time being his favourite and he was regularly seen positioned over the entire feed bowl, chowing down. Kennys personality was of an outgoing little man who had the loudest purr for such a tiny tot and he quickly won the hearts of us all. Without any warning at all, Kenny crashed and he was rushed to the vet early Sunday morning critically ill, his life hanging in the balance with low blood sugar levels caused by his liver not functioning properly. The little fighter he was, Kenny responded well to the injection of glucose and he was then put on a drip with antibiotics administered... Monday he was eating and looking bright and whilst we knew he was going to be challenged health wise, once he put on weight, we would proceed with further treatment to support his challenged liver. Unfortunately we werent given that opportunity as Kenny decided it was his time to leave us this morning... we are devastated. Run free tiny little man. Thank you Dr Sue at McIvor Road Veterinary Centre for doing all you could for Kenny.
