THOUGHT FOR THE DAY AND THE SEASON: Every year somebody says how sad it is that this is the one time of year that people remember to be kind and compassionate. YES, I WISH people would feel this way everyday, but I am thankful that at least once a year a majority rise to the occasion. Most people feel like hard times will never fall upon them. For most, it is inconceivable to think that there could be a day where they, or a family member might find themselves without a home. That will never be me is what so many say...Well, I dont think that any homeless person had plans of being homeless. I dont think that any mother and father had planned to not have enough money for a Thanksgiving meal. I dont think any parent plans not have the funds for a Christmas Tree, or gifts from Santa. I am not saying that you need to give a lot, but this time of year, outside almost every shopping center is someone ringing a bell with a bucket for the Goodwill. PLEASE, take whatever you can spare and put it in the bucket & PLEASE, dont give them dirty looks or say mean heartless things to them, and if its freezing outside and you are in a Walmart with a D&D, maybe buy them a hot chocolate when your getting yourself something. I am not asking for big changes, I am only asking that you be aware and think with your heart...at least once a year. PS. this is shabbily written bc Im getting ready for work, but I wanted to put something up before tomorrow the new black Friday
