THOUGHTS FROM A WATCHER ON THE WALL: A spirit of lawlessness desires to have complete control over this nation. To that God says NO! Demonic forces are attempting to rule. Some things must occur; as Satan, the god of this world, has blinded the eyes of some who have given their allegiance to him. If they dont repent, they will be tormented in hell. Saying they will be tormented in hell are not my words; Im only repeating what God has already said. Pray for their blinded eyes to open as God sends laborers across their paths. What is seen in the natural is a manifestation of what is going on in the spirit realm. God tells us in the book of Ephesians to put on the whole armor of God that we may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil. Wiles means methods, schemes, and plans. What we see in our nation is a full manifestation of the wiles of the wicked one. For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places. One translation of the Bible says: For we are not wrestling with flesh and blood, contending only with physical opponents, but against the despotism, against the powers, against the master spirits who are the world rulers of this present darkness, against the spirit forces of wickedness in the heavenly supernatural sphere. The whole armor of God will assist us in resisting the enemy and standing our ground in this evil day. The gospel of peace shall prevail! We are admonished to lift up over everything the saving shield of faith, upon which we can quench all the flaming missiles of the wicked one. Some will be put in positions where they have to physically fire a gun. This too is a physical manifestation of what is going on in the spirit realm. More than ever, we must take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit which is the Word of God. We must pray at all times, on every occasion, in every season in the Spirit with all manner of prayer and entreaty. Stay in a constant state of being ready; for we know not what hour the Son of man shall appear. One thing for sure is that Satan and his cohorts are screaming as they are visibly killing, stealing, and destroying. His time is running out. Being prepared as specified in Ephesians 6 is going to be more imperative than ever before.
