THOUGHTS TO GIVE YOU INDIGESTION: According to the Constitution - TopicsExpress

THOUGHTS TO GIVE YOU INDIGESTION: According to the Constitution of the United States, “the Vice President shall serve as President over the Senate, but shall have no Vote, unless they are equally divided.” This raises the question why is it that Harry Reid, Speaker, does not allow a vote to be taken in the Senate? By law, his position is to present the bill, give his opinion and call for a vote, either test or real. Has anyone heard Joe Biden weigh in on any of the goings on in the Senate? In an earlier post around August, I stated that ALL Congressmen would begin their move for re-election by trying to cast a brighter light on themselves. My point has been made as David Vitter begins his by stating, “I am trying to pass a law where Congress must abide by the laws it passes for its citizens.” Well, Dave, the Constitution of the United States plainly states: “Congress shall pass no laws in which they are exempt.” Why don’t you attempt to enforce the Constitution instead of adding a law to an already existing law? This is only the first. There will be more. If it takes 2 years to run a Presidential campaign, don’t you think there will be a one year campaign for Congress? Get ready. Weed out the BS and VOTE.
