THURSDAY , 31 OCTOBER 2013 Rom 8: 31-39 What shall we say to these things ? If God is for us, who can be against us? He who did not spare his own Son , but delivered him up for us all , how shall he not with him also freely give us all things ? Who will bring any charge against those whom God has chosen ? It is God who justifies ? Who is to condemn ? It is Christ who suffered [for us] death , whats more - rose again and is seated at the right hand of God and intercedes for us ? Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? Will anguish , oppression, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness , or peril, or sword? As it is written : Because you kill us all day , we are regarded as sheep to be slaughtered . But in all these things we are more than conquerors through him who loved us . I am sure that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities , nor things present , nor future things, nor powers , nor height , nor depth , nor any other creature, shall be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in through Jesus Christ our Lord. But he answered them, Go and tell that fox, Behold, I cast out demons and do cures today and tomorrow, and the third day I will at the end . Yet today , tomorrow and the day after tomorrow I have to be on the road, because the thing can not be that a prophet perish outside of Jerusalem . Jerusalem, Jerusalem , you who kill the prophets and stones those who are sent to her . how often would I have gathered your children together as a hen gathers her chicks under her wings, and ye would not . your house is your [ only ] for you to stay . for I say unto you, you shall not see Me until you say, Blessed is he who comes in the name of the Lord
