THURSDAY: 8am - Back to the Rockford Memorial Hospital Doctors - TopicsExpress

THURSDAY: 8am - Back to the Rockford Memorial Hospital Doctors Building for some more heart tests. THANKS for the prayers on WEDNESDAY, the tests all went VERY good. Am not going to publish my health record but suffice it to say that #1) my heart is considered very strong #2) My heart is NOT enlarged as I was once told #3) I did that nuclear stress test in a way that would make my 73 yr. friends proud - for 73 yr olds, they let you go til your pulse is 125. Pulse hit that and Blood Pressure rose appropriately to match; in the cool down period, both pulse and BP fell to perfectly NORMAL levels without so much as a twitch! Oxygen level was 96. My heart doctor said that of course he needs to examine the results of all of the above more closely but he was pleased. Todays tests will look at my heart at rest; and then some extensive blood labs will be carried out; and lastly, much to the delight of my friends, I will wear a portable heart monitor for 48 hours. After that - To Be Determined. But was told to go out and get back to normal - period. For the more medical types who read this, my heart ejection rate is 65%. Normal is anything over 55%. See, not bad for an old geezer with a 73 year old Kramer Heart! Visited Fr. Collins afterward and he is making progress in his climb back to normalcy as well; hope to be back out of Skilled Care and in his normal room by mid July. SPOKE WITH RON & HE WAS HAVING A RELATIVELY GOOD DAY AS MUCH AS POSSIBLE! So it would seem that the prayers are being answered very well. Additionally I received some other news that I cannot share here quite yet but it really made my day! (I did NOT win the lottery - any donations cheerfully accepted however!) As the Irish would say, Wednesday was a SOFT DAY, clouds & drizzle off and on. At this rate, we will start to look as green as Ireland too! Hey, get yourselves positioned to enjoy THE FOURTH OF JULY IN STYLE! THANKS AGAIN FOR YOUR PRAYERS FOR ME AND FOR MY DEAR BROTHER, RON! And congratulations to another brother - Rons twin, DON. He announced that he is NOW SEMI-RETIRED. HURRAH!! YIPPEE!!! WAY TO GO!! NOW ENJOY YOURSELF FOR GOODNESS SAKE! I do!
