THURSDAY, May 8 Psalm 37:7. Be still before the Lord and wait patiently for him. Every weekday morning at this seminary begins with thirty minutes of silent meditation in the chapel. It is a defining discipline for the students and faculty. Most of us struggle with it at times. God is always present no matter where we are, always waiting for us to approach with open hearts and minds. But we are not always able to make that connection at a prescribed time as though we were catching a bus.
