THURSDAY THE 22ND A day every concerned Zimbabwean was waiting - TopicsExpress

THURSDAY THE 22ND A day every concerned Zimbabwean was waiting for. The return of a very elderly person from a prolonged holiday well enjoyed in the diaspora climate. The arrival closed a lot of speculation as some in townships were gossiping a lot about the man`s absence. Some were talking about the stories of unveiling while others thought he could have ran away and sought an asylum in Malaysia. Luckily no one had attempted to distribute his estate. As usual he was received by his faithful’s whom I consider as cowards and brainwashed on an occasion characterised by song and dance. Some were holding placards and banners denouncing Mutasa the diesel explorer. The man made god wasted no time but tore straight into the person of Mutasa. He reduced him to a grade R child. Words of hate were broadcast and well received by those whose politics is fertilised by hate. Unlike what my grandfather used to do. During the days he spent a long time away from home he would bring words of love home make everyone feel loved and distribute his leftovers equally amongst his grandchildren unlike this granny who has no time for a smile. In cases where there were reported cases of deviance, the old man would privately meet those reported and motivate them to behave before punishing them. Asi zvemusangano uyu, a respected man who begged a rock to vomit diesel was not supposed to be treated in that way in front of the people he had led for 3 decades. Ok I rest my case on this one as the message was clear that the squabbles within cannot be solved by those without. I am an outsider let them fight but there is no happy ever after in this local derby. Civil servants soon it will rain in your yard. Keep those fingers crossed is the message. The nine decade old promised to look into your problems once the economy starts to perform. My worry is on the lack of dates when the economy will be back on track. It reminds me of the statement “The beautiful ones are not yet born``. Ladies and gentlemen you will wait till infinity. Suppose there is some truth in the promise I feel it will be wise if given a date and time when your payslips will receive the bond and Bob baptism. It is time for you vote fake promises out by 2018. If in fear no stress there is secrecy in the ballot. I am happy that the man still cares about his subjects. The condolence message for the accident victims went a long way in comforting us as a nation. The only sad part is that there was a black out before I could hear the promise of attending to the bad state of our roads. I am sure the wise man touched on that subject of road maintenance. Zanu PF, all MDC formations, ZAPU, GUNGA, ADP, Transform Zimbabwe, Mavambo etc we are a people we are the nation let us not give room to politicians to set us up. Land is for Zimbabwe not a personal property for a particular country and next time if people want to sell our baby elephants we must be consulted first nyika ndeyedu (Ilizwe ngelethu sonke). May the Lord truly bless only those Zimbabweans who have a real love for their nation. Give us all a kind heart to assist orphans and widows who cannot put food on the table. If we can all identify a child each to pay school fees for we would have displayed to God that we think better than a selfish government.
