TIME IS RUNNING OUT!! - Enter the 2015 Family of the Year Essay Contest ELIGIBILITY: Family must live in Bay Ridge, Dyker Heights or Sunset Park, Brooklyn. PROJECT: Essay Question (Must submit both A & B to qualify): A. How is the Bay Ridge St. Patrick’s Day Parade special to your family and in what ways has it strengthened your Irish-Catholic heritage and traditions? B. Bio of the family’s Irish roots along with submission of any photos of your family. ** If your family is chosen, at least 10 members of the family must be available on parade day – Sunday March 22, 2015. ** CRITERIA: The Parade Committee will rate the entries that skillfully bring the narrator to life. Pictures will illustrate the love of everything Irish. ENTRY FORMAT: Typed document – Microsoft Word Document DEADLINE: Monday January 19, 2015 PRIZES: 1. The whole family will have their own Float on Parade Day – Sunday March 22nd. 2. Will be honored along with the rest of our honorees at our Annual Dinner Dance – Saturday March 7, 2015.
