#TIMEFMBREAKFASTNEWS Police in Kuwait has come up with a new decision banning police women from having nail polish or wearing make-up while duty. The decision by the ministry of interior also warned the female cops against dying their hair and stressed that they must always appear in good shape. Media said the ministry issued the new decision after it noticed many police women come to duty with polished nails and wearing much make-up. ……………………………………………… The majority of the ruling NRM party, have resolved to back President Yoweri Museveni on his proposal to have sodomy suspects, defilers and rapists denied bail. The resolution was made during the NRM Caucus retreat in Kyankwanzi Mr Museveni, in a renewed call for the scrapping of the bail window for suspects in capital offences, said the status-quo is encouraging crime in the country. The legislators therefore tasked the Ministry of Justice to expedite the process of amending the Constitution to that effect. …………………………………………… The People’s Development Party (PDP) President, Dr. Abed Bwanika, has condemned the move by the NRM party to appoint President Yoweri Museveni to contest for the 5th term in the next general elections. This follows reports that all the NRM party MPs have agreed to front the freedom fighter for another term, come 2016. He says the move by the NRM Members of Parliament destroys the democracy in the country. The PDP party president also cautions president Museveni to allow genuine competition against him within the party and avoid intimidating whoever shows interests of standing against him. ……………………………………………… At least six people have died after a car bomb exploded close to the gate of the international airport in Somalias capital, Mogadishu, police say. Mount Kelud spewed ash and debris over a large area, including the city of Surabaya about 130km away. Some towns are reported to have been covered by a 4cm layer of ash. Three major airports in Surabaya, Solo and Yogyakarta were forced to shut down because of low visibility.
