TMJ update : I had an appt with my Dr today. I go every three weeks, so the last time I was there, I over extended my jaw, he does measurements of how far I can open my jaw, and how far I can move it to each side. My competetive side came out in me and I wanted to beat my last measurement. Stupid me, I felt pain when I did it and a few days after I had a small vertigo spell......then a couple days later, a big one. Ugghhhhh....leave it to me to screw it up. Soooo, I started using more ice and went back to a full muscle relaxant at night before bed, I had weaned to a half before, and really taking it easy. I had some soreness for about a week, but eventually got better. I am doing fine now, I learned a big lesson. I got a lecture from my Dr, I deserved it, and will not do it again. On the bright side of all this, I know my limits....if I follow what I am supposed to do I can control the vertigo.
