well guys....i just now got word that one of the TRUE Legends of my business has passed away today.OH NO! ......i met OX several years ago and spent like 3 days with him off and on thanks to my dear friend Jason Sanderson. This was a bucket list item for me and i am so glad i did get to meet him...such a very special person in our business for sure.. If you ever Met Douglas Ox Baker...you have an OX Baker Story! In the Movie Escape from New York he was killed by Snake Blisken in a ring but yet never took a bump or left his feet. (you must see the movie) he once said at the end of a match that ended in a time limit draw....... Sam Menacker.....give me 35 more seconds! and in a pro mo he once said....and i kicked the cats milk bowl over...cause the dog wasnt home! those were just a few of my memories of OX Baker. I am not sure how many of you know this but OX Baker was actually a contestant on The Price is Right in the 70s......so i am sure today and today only..the Good Lord said...OX BAKER.......COME ON DOWN!!! :-) RIP OX...you will be missed by many!
