TMPC prayer call recap: “We’re Better Together” Philippians 1:27-30 As we continue to be encouraged by Paul’s life and ministry we discover that ministry does not advance singlehandedly. It requires the CONNECTIVITY OF THE BELIEVERS in faith to effectively bring forth the Good News and build the Kingdom. Paul pressed upon the church that they were BETTER TOGETHER. First we understand that there is a connection through OUR CALLING which is to bring the Good News despite adversity and opposition. A demand has been placed on each life to OVERCOME OBSTACLES in order to bring glory to God. It does not matter what our situation is, our calling is not tied to a specific location but attached to our life. And in order to adhere to that call, it is OUR CONDUCT that will get us out of any difficult circumstance. You don’t need the co-signature of others to tell you what needs to be done; there is enough calling on our lives to push us to MOVE FORWARD TOGETHER. Second, there is a connection through SIMILAR CONFLICT. Although we may have different experiences, we are still facing the opposition of the enemy. Even though it looks like the enemy has caused us to lose hope, THE CALL AND THE DEMAND pushes the church forward. The calling produces GROWTH and growth produces connectivity which helps us understand that WE ARE BETTER TOGETHER. We must realized that we all possess the same power and authority because of the demand placed by God. To gain the #1000souls we must learn to CONNECT HUMANITY TO THE CAUSE of Christ, helping everyone to realize their calling to overcome. Third, there is connectivity through OUR CONVICTION concerning Christ. As we connect to Christ, we SUFFER FOR CHRIST. It is when we learn to STAND SIDE BY SIDE, fighting together that we are able TO ENDURE THE SUFFERING. We are better together. We truly need each other to SURVIVE, OVERCOME, AND BRING FORTH THE GOOD NEWS of Christ our Savior! Be Blessed! Humbly submitted by Tameka Ludd
