TNN Around the Town - new Sod on Little League Field One The WSRPD has committed $260,000 for improvements to the little league fields. Field One has been laser leveled and a combination of sand and clay brought in to make the infield complete. and all prep work was done by the WSRPD staff under the direction of Don Koenig and Les Clark II. The fields are looking great. Safety has been a huge consideration of the Rec down to the choice of turf being used, Tiffany Bermuda with perineal rye mixed in, a ball field turf. Improvement work is also being done on field number 3 this morning.
