TNT Call notes 26-Dec-2014 Call Link: events.instantteleseminar/?eventid=63870816 Tony: Good morning, TNT! Today is Wednesday, December 26, 2014. We are here once again, the day after Christmas. Should we be here? No, but here we are. Meetings did take place, they are still in meetings, whatever these frivolous things are, they have not been completed. The budget has been approved, and we expected this to be announced yesterday. In Iraq, they are saying “be calm and patient”, they are finishing this up. We do here that the US is pushing this to be done and yet we asked them NOT to do it yesterday so there wouldn’t be an uproar here. All bank people are on standby. They didn’t bring their people in today, although they were told to be in on Monday. Iraq is still staying they will have it done by the end of this year. There are five days left in December. It could happen at any moment. All the documents are dated as taking effect on the first of January. They are not going to put the rate out until the whole thing is completed and the budget is implemented, and the only part hat has been implemented so far is the Kurds. As soon as the rest of Iraq gets its act together, then we will get the rate. A lot of bank people here are being told to be ready for Monday. The original plan was to have this done through the holiday, but now it ti so close to the end of the year, maybe they are waiting for that. We are just waiting for Iraq to complete the implementation and then this nightmare will be over. As soon as this announcement is made, we can celebrate Christmas all over again. They don’t need this budget to implement the RV because the rate was in the 2014 budget! Up until today, they never said the budget had to be implement before this part goes through. But we suspect this is part of the excuse they have been using all along because of things happening in the background. They are not on vacation, they are in Parliament having meetings and taking votes. Caller: I heard they are exchanging in Mexico. Are they exchanging anywhere in the world? Tony: If they were exchanging in Mexico, a lot of people would be driving there right now! Caller: By the way, I want to help people in Ferguson to rebuild their businesses. Also, can you give my phone number to that soldier; I want to give him some dongs. Tony: I’m writing your number down and will try to get it to him. 937 caller: [Chitchat] Are you 100% certain we will not be in the same place a year from now? Tony: Based on the information I have, we definitely won’t be here a year from now. I don’t think they can even drag it out to the middle of next month. In Iraq, they keep telling them this will be done by the end of the year, this is the second time they have had to calm them down, and I don’t’ think they will get through a third time. Abadi is trying to show them he has a serious government, so there must be something else going on in the background. We can see with the oil prices that they must be trying to reach a certain point. Every day is historic day over there, and it relates to the oil rates. Caller: [more of the same] Tony: It is frustrating for the Iraqi people as well as us, and they cannot go on forever saying “when this or that happens”. Now they are saying that as soon as the budget is implemented, the rate will change. It has already passed the Parliament and the Council of Ministers, so I think we are very close. 830 caller: Are there still four rates? Tony: Yes. Caller: The banking thing sounds confusing to me. At one time, we talked about having a little control about leaving our money or not, and now it sounds like they might not want our money there. Tony: Both sides have to agree. They have to want you as a customer and you want to be there. Banks don’t have to accept any customer. I understand only Wells Fargo HAS to exchange you, and if they don’t’ want you to stay, you’ll have 30 days to move your money elsewhere. Caller If they offer a higher rate, when will that happen? Tony: I think that will be with the wealth manager, and that’s for people with enough currency to merit a wealth manager. If you only have 100K dinar, you won’t be assigned a private banker. Caller: Can the initial people offer you the China contract rate, do they have that authority? I always thought it was in their interest to give you the contract rate, because they sweep your accounts, right? Tony: I don’t know until the package comes. If I can give out a higher rate, am I going to give it to the guy with 100K dinar or a million dinar? Which makes me more money? Of course they want to retain 20% of five million dinar, say. They have been giving SOME contract rates to those with smaller amounts, but we just don’t know until we get the info, and they may not give us that information. We’ve been told a certain percentage will get it, but we don’t know the criteria. We are assuming that we will be offered the contract rate at the first appointment, but if the wealth manager offers even higher rates at the second meeting, I assume they will offer those higher rates to those more likely to keep that money in their bank. I am thinking like a wealth manager here. Caller: So I might be offered the $3 rate at the first meeting, and $30 at the second meeting? That is a heck of a jump. Tony: We don’t know the details. I don’t know if you have 100K dinar or ten million dinar. I know what I would do as a banker, what makes sense. I know that someone who only had 100K dinar still got $9. But we don’t know. Caller: [Going over it again] If we exchange, we will get a receipt for that deposit, right? Tony: Yes, you will present your currency, get a receipt, be able to have 10% at once and an appointment with a wealth manager. Anywhere you exchange, there will be a screen, and I would suggest you check that screen to look at the true rate. Q: I am concerned we have given up our leverage before we get the contract rate. Tony: I don’t know how this works. I can only tell you what makes sense to ME. I would give the higher rates to those who are my clients and who are likely to remain my clients. That’s just good business sense, but I don’t know how this works. At one point, they said that they would offer to those who have been clients for five years, and then three years. They have given out rates of $15, $9, all over the place. We want everyone walking into the bank to know what to expect, but we don’t know the details until we have the actual information. 562 caller: On the blog this morning, they said the RV is “done”. What does that mean? Tony: We’ve been saying it’s done for months. People have been paid since 31. October; the rate has been published in the budget, the Iraqi cards have been loaded at $3.58, and they can spend that money internationally. This whole thing is ridiculous. It’s been released in bits and pieces, there are five rates in Iraq, and Kurdistan has already implemented the new budget. So it’s done – everything has happened apart from the CBI putting it up on the site and it being exchangeable internationally. We might be waiting for tiny little things, or for the US to do something else – it’s all frivolous because all the big things are already done. Caller: As for the various groups, is the internet group scheduled to go at the same time as the Admiral’s group and Gen64 group? Tony: Yes, that’s what we have been told – they want to get us out of the way before the general public. Caller: What do the initials TNT stand for? Tony: It stands for an explosive opportunity! 602 caller: I’m irritated this hasn’t happened yet. And I thought TNT stood for Tony N Tamara – isn’t your wife named Tamara? I’m trying to make sure my daughter is taken care of, and she’s overseas. No one is going before Iraq goes, so even if the dinarians go first, we are not going before Iraq does. Tony: You are correct. Iraqi citizens are going before us. I’ve been told 100 times that we are not going until Iraq does. Once they make that announcement, that opens the flood-gates, but that won’t happen until the Iraqi citizens go. And Iraq is telling their people this will happen by the end of the year. It could happen today, tomorrow or the next day. As we were waiting, we heard that the US asked Iraq to wait until today. The banks have put their people on standby for the weekend, and others were told not to expect anything until Monday. We’re still here; they are making it public. Everything is done. Kurdistan has already implemented it, and we’re waiting for Baghdad to implement it and put out the rate. 901 caller: You said the US asked not to announce it at Christmas? Tony: They asked for a one-day delay, and it could happen today. Parliament is still there, not on vacation. This is minor stuff that could have been done in a couple of hours, and the fact that it hasn’t means something else is going on. They said it would be announced at the eleventh hour on the 25th, they did one reading and we just wait to see how long until it is finished up. 352 caller: What impact on Iraq if they don’t go through with this? Tony: The same as in Libya, Syria, etc.: “You are acting like the old corrupt government”, and there will be rioting in the streets. Supposedly everything is out of our hands, but it is the same system. The US could stop it again, but that would upset a LOT of people. All they could do is offer something else to make them wait another day or so. We are hearing the US is now saying “Let’s go, let’s go, let’s go”, that we want it done by the end of the year. I want to be excited and telling you I’ll call you back later tonight, but I don’t hear that. They say that as soon as this is implemented they will put out the rate. It could happen today, but the banks are not ready today. They have their people on standby and they could bring them in with two hours’ notice, but I don’t’ see that happening right now. 410 caller: I am feeling very good about this. We know it’s going to happen. When we think of how long it took to get men to moon and back again: ten years and two million procedures, a million of which were not expected. The same thing is happening here – there is so much going on Iraq, they need to make sure to bring their millions of people to where they need to be. It’s more beneficial now than later, and it’s just going to happen. I’m grateful that people are patient and wise enough to pull away from politics enough for us to have this. Tony: You are absolutely right. Even now, we don’t have a clue what is supposed to happen when the bell rings. We will get 800 numbers, but don’t know if we will have instructions (or not), what kind of questions and chaos and rates will come up, and “how come they didn’t tell me this before going to the wealth manager?” They don’t know what will come up that they will have to deal with. Give us some of that right now so that we can deal with it before it actually happens! Not to mention what we will do with the money after we get it, how much we can keep and what do with the rest. As they get to the last minute or they listen to our calls, then there is more to fix. There are a million unknowns. But it IS going to happen, we just don’t know what moment in time. Caller: At least we have you to sift through it all and give us a good perspective. Tony: You can look at President Obama from the moment he took office and how much greyer he is today – I’m twice as grey! 281 caller: They keep saying this is out of America’s hands, but repeatedly this gets put on hold at America’s requests. How can they be stopping it when it’s out of their hands? Tony: They can always screw it up in the system and make the process fail. Iraq has a group over here, to watch out for that. America has no authority to stop this, but they can still make a request, and Iraq can agree or not. They might wait if the US makes them an offer they cannot refuse, but Iraq is still in control of the system, technically. Caller: I know this thing has to go because of all the information, but it’s when they pull the trigger. Patience is a virtue. If we keep trying to figure this out, more people will have grey hair, so the best thing is to rest, know this is happening, and rejoice. Tony: It’s moving along, we are hearing the announcements, and it’s NOT about us. That is not what is holding it up (trying to lock us out). It’s about all the Iraqi citizens and all the US citizens. It’s now been publicized so much that nothing is holding it up except for a meeting. Caller: Is it possible this might go past January 7th or 15th? Tony: I wouldn’t think so. The Parliament has already voted on this, the Council of Ministers has approved it. They say Parliament is on holiday for two weeks, but everyone knows they are still at work, and they keep saying it will be done by the end of the year. Now it has passed, and they are saying ‘once it is implemented’ we will get a rate. When is that? If it’s the end of the year, I can live with that – instead of New Years, I can have Christmas again on 1. January. The issue is not us, not fighting to get $3.58 or part of the contract rate because that is all in position for us. We are just waiting. Caller: When you sow good, you reap good; your labor is not in vain. Payday is coming. 601 caller: If it waits until after the first of the year, do we pay taxes in the first quarter, or make interest and pay taxes in 2016. Tony: Usually rich people pay taxes every quarter, so you might as well get used to it. Caller: After ten years, I’m ready! 423 caller: Do you think that all these times we thought it would go, that they never intended to let it go? That they wanted to inch it through a day at a time? I am a hopeful person, but it’s starting to get to me when it looks like it will happen and it doesn’t. If something one the call makes them change it again, maybe we shouldn’t have the calls. You could just tweet out something encouraging now and again. Tony: I absolutely think that has happened 100 times over the last few years – not to string us along, but because there have been different reasons and negotiations. They wanted to catch the bad guys, the side deals on the back screens, or for other reasons that affect the entire economy. I know they caught people trying to smuggle currency over the borders, for instance, and illegal trades for ten billion dollars in Europe when the RV was supposed to happen. They weeded people out doing things like that. Also, people have been fired for leaking information, plus there were issues of how far the dollar would drop, and so on. It’s not always about trying to screw us out of our money, or the tax situation, etc. They know all that, and they will still get all the money they were going to get. People take that too personally. We’ve been within 10-15 minutes of the announcement, and then something unexpected happened. If they keep giving themselves long enough, something else is bound to come up. So let’s just do it and fix those parts afterwards! We have to look at what the lady said about going to the moon and back. They only get one shot at this; it will then be too late to wait for the oil prices to go down a bit more, or whatever they are waiting for. If they don’t do it perfectly, it won’t be possible to redo it. There are people who want to be in control of every aspect, and I don’t think that perfect point will ever happen. I think at some point they will just have to release it and deal with the consequences afterwards. Caller; If you are smart enough to see that, surely the people in charge can see that, too! How can they not see that as well? I’m frustrated because my life has been on hold for the last four years. Tony: We don’t know what we don’t know. It looks like the end, and they then do things that don’t make sense to me. But they have pieces of the pie that I don’t have. So when other dinar gurus say this, that or the other, they don’t even have the level of intel that we have, AND they are not being restricted in the ways we are. So I have to give them a bit of leeway, and they have to do the same to us. We have different information sets, and we have to make projections based on what we have. They cannot give out what they are negotiating about with other countries or what is going on in back rooms. Caller: I’m on the calls every week, and cannot pull away, but if they are delaying this based on anything on these calls, maybe we shouldn’t have them. Tony: Three years ago, I would have to agree with you. I would say, “Oh, I would do this or that”, and they would bring out laws to block our plans. At that point we could have stopped talking, but it still wouldn’t have gone through for other reasons. But at this point, we are talking about way to do things, not ways around things. Before, they were just trying to cut us out, but now so much is in the public domain that I don’t think it matters what we say – it will have to come into the public domain. Initially they were going to give out one 800 number, and everyone would get one in 72 hours. Then they said they would get all Dinarland done by the 22nd, then by the end of the year, and open it to the general public in the New Year. They can push Iraq to the 29th, for all we know, and then they would have 72 hours to get Dinarland through. They say that they asked for only one day’s delay, so it could be this weekend. Caller: A friend’s banker called and made him an appointment for the 13th of January, and if it goes before then he will bring it forward. For those who don’t have that personal relationship, it feels like we don’t have an “in”. Tony: Many of out contacts thought it would be today – and that is what the banks were told, until this latest delay. We got a bunch of calls that the banks were told this is happening now, and their people cannot buy more currency. Those were on Tuesday and Wednesday, and said, that this RV deal is real and about to be live. 602 caller: We’re all tired at this point. Can you tell us the banks that are supposed to be doing this? We know WF is the lead bank – what other banks will be available? Also, can you tell us what rates you have heard for the four currencies? Tony: This is what I’ve heard: WF is the lead and is supp0sed to do everyone. Chase has done some exchanges, and so has Bank of America, and they have paid out 4-5 different rates. City and 5/3 have walked this through with some people. Almost all banks will have the opportunity IF they choose to take it up. Caller: If you have an account, the bank might do it; otherwise, it’s WF, is that right? Also, we cannot plan anything because we don’t have any rates to plan around. Tony: I hear the dinar rate is $3.58, but it might come out higher. The dong could be anywhere from 57 cents to $2 – international rates. The rupiah has stayed at $1.05 consistently. The Zim could be anywhere from .06 to .15, minus six zeroes. Even two cents would be great for the Zim. Caller: Doesn’t the government realize it created this mess? If they had just said it was going in 2015, that would have been better. Tony: If they had said that, everyone would have been buying up the currencies, spending their money on that instead of keeping the economy going. Then we would have 50 million with currency instead of five million, and that would have really messed up the economy. What if Iraq had then decided NOT to revalue at this point – everyone would be suing the government! Caller: Well, it keeps getting delayed and people buy more! Tony: Some have bought more, some have wasted money on reserves, and some have told lots of their friends. How many did you tell? No one? Many told ten other people, and maybe spent 1,000 on this wild dream. Most people I told said “this is crazy” and ignored the opportunity. If the government had put out a document, ten out of ten would have bought it, and then if it didn’t revalue… Caller: I think most are frustrated by all the manipulation… Tony: Most of us shouldn’t even be here! This was not designed for us! That’s why I left PTR, because most people couldn’t deal with the day-to-day stress. If you cannot handle the process, you didn’t need to listen for the last four years. This is how governments work: they lie to each other, negotiate behind each others’ back… that’s why we don’t want to be involved with politics. It is frustrating for Iraq, but they lived under a dictator, and they knew how life would be. They went from that to a supposed democracy under Maliki, and then they never knew how life would be when people were being killed in the streets. Now they are being included in a true democracy, when they are being consulted in these decisions. If it had happened as expected eight years ago, we wouldn’t be here at all! DC, what are you buying me for Christmas and when? When is this going to happen? I talked to DC yesterday, and he has young kids so he was focused on them. Everyone is frustrated because it didn’t happen on Christmas. We’re not in a bad place. Everything is done apart from the announcement. Someone asked them to delay it for a day, there are only six days until the rest of the year, and it could be today. I can’t wait to send a tweet! That’s it, guys; I didn’t want to got into the weekend without letting you know what’s going on. Pam: I was doing other stuff. I’m very hopeful and checking my list twice. Ray: Continue to enjoy this Fantabulous Friday and we’ll see what the weekend brings. Tony: A lot of people are traveling the country taking people their presents. You can still have a second Christmas; presents are still being delivered. We may not know the minute or the hour, but we know everything is done. I would love nothing but to sent you a tweet today or tomorrow. Enjoy your day.
