TO ALL MY BELOVED FRIENDS: I want you to know how very much appreciate your support and continued love in speaking out against one of the last socially acceptable bigotries and that is the bigotry against the obese. There are all kinds of stupid assumptive behaviors that go unchecked and unchallenged that obese people have to deal with every day. These include: the assumption they are mentally or emotionally lacking, spiritually deficient, that they have an eating disorder i.e., binge, etc..., are addicts (sugar, fat, food), dont love themselves, have low self-esteem, ad nausea. Being bombarded with all kinds of veiled you are gonna die, and you cant be happy if you are fat messages. All with the assumption that all normal sized people are happy, well adjusted, have high self-esteem, are socially, morally, and spiritually healthy. The truth is, there are many people who are addicts, bulimic, suicidal, physically and mentally ill, emotionally unstable, that are normal sized and no one tells them you are gonna die messages like the ones given to obese people every single day. The truth is that everyone has their own struggles and challenges in life. Many people are told they dont have the right to be happy and to approve of themselves and love who they are and it is all a lie. Judgement only ever creates separation it never heals, it never changes anything, it destroys so much that could be beautiful. The choices always comes down to this: You can judge people or you can love them you cannot do both. You have to choose which you love more your judgement or people. It really is that simple. It is for that reason you will see me post something from time to time speaking out against this bigotry and speaking the truth. Every gardener knows that to be a good gardener you have to weed, feed, water, till, prune, and plant, but if you are gonna pull the weeds, you have to first recognize the weeds. Bigotry of any kind is a weed. I dont like weeds.
