TO ALL MY FAMILY, EXTENDED TO INLAWS & FB FRIENDS... This is an election year, the results which will indicate which way the USA is headed. This is extremely important for our children and grandchildren. I believe that everyone is doing the best that they can, within the context of what they believe to be true. WARNING: When your political posts show up on my timeline, I may, or may not, comment with support, invalidation, an alternative position, or ignore. I am almost always polite to opponents, even when their opinions are inflammatory... until they stoop to insults. (I am a black belt in returning insults.) I will probably respond to inflammatory comments, here or even family gatherings. I welcome support for my positions. I am a civil libertarian-fiscal conservative politically. I support the Libertarian and the Tea Party Movements generally, but there are exceptions in both movements positions, so I am not a member of any political party, Libertarian, Republican, Constitutionalist, etc. If I were to run for office, it would probably be as a Tea Party/libertarian Republican, although I have disagreements with all of their leaders about certain issues. You will not find 100% agreement anywhere. If you are too sensitive ((insecure) or opinionated for feedback, you should say so or exclude me from your FB friends list. I am open to everyone responding to my own posts. I may (or may not) delete your response on my FB site if you are obscenely or irrationally insulting. Sometimes it is worthwhile to let opponents reveal who they are. Show who you are and the people who like and support you may reveal themselves, and your opposition will avoid you, or show up to fight. Public posts are fair game. My wife hates family discord and mostly avoids my political battles. For her comfort, I have been holding back... which I might not in the future.
