TO AVOID CRITICISM, DO NOTHING, SAY NOTHING, AND BE NOTHING To do anything remotely interesting you need to train yourself to be effective at dealing with, responding to, even enjoying criticism… In fact, I would take the quote a step further and encourage people to actively pursue being thought foolish and stupid and radical. It may even be the key to success in life! DAY 1: I start with Kleeneze really excited about my future, my chance to genuinely have a crack at the good life, to make my family proud of me and to achieve that elusive financial security thing that seemed to only happen to the lucky few. This was going to be THE pivotal turn around point in my life. DAY 2: Brother: That will never work! Nobody ever makes money out of these things. Me: Why is that? Brother: They just dont, OK! Me: Yes but why dont they? Brother Chris, just take my advice and dont get your hopes up. Knock it on the head before you waste a lot of time and effort for nothing. MONTH 6: Through my Kleeneze income, I have updated my car from a 12 year old banger to a 5 year old Volvo and just taken the family on our first foreign holiday in years. Brother: Dont spend all your money Chris because these things never last you know. Me: Why dont they last? Brother: Just trust me - they dont, and you are going to come unstuck big time if youre not careful!! YEAR 5: Just got back from 7 week around the world tour with family, pick up my brand new 5 series BMW and make final last ever payment on the mortgage. Brother: Well its all right for you isnt it! You got in 6 years ago and theres no point in me joining now. Me: Sigh... double sigh!! At least you enjoy your job bruv and that is the main thing isnt it. Brother: You got to be kidding, I hate my job and cant wait to find a way out of it! One day, one day eh... For the word Brother you can multiply by probably a dozen other similar people. But we really cant blame them - they are just being normal! And thats the problem with following the heard, if we are not careful we can go back to being just like them - i.e. job you hate, struggling finances, driving an old banger, having no time to spend with your nearest and dearest and making the umpteenth excuse to the family why there is no holiday abroad again this year. So in summary, it went from: IT WILL NEVER WORK to IT WILL NEVER LAST to ITS ALL RIGHT FOR YOU! If you havent yet experienced these in your Kleeneze business, be prepared because it is only a matter of time.
