TO BE DESTROYED - 08/18/14 Manhattan -P (A1009363) * MAE *. ღ ☼¸.•´¸.•*´¨) FRIENDLY PLAYFUL PUPPY ALERT! A volunteer writes ღ Talk about saving the best for last!!! Mae was my last walk of my day and I couldnt have asked for a better partner with whom to share it. Laying against the back wall of her kennel trembling, Mae needed to feel comfortable before coming out with me. I sat and chatted for a minute or two, and she suddenly just stood up as if saying, ok, I get it, youre good people, and out she came. Likely housetrained she went as soon as we were out the door and off we went to the park. Mae was abandoned by her owner and brought to us by a neighbor who tells us that Mae gets along with kids, lived with dogs although may not like small dogs, is housebroken and paper trained. Mae also suffers from an ear infection and some mange, both of which need vet care and are usually easily taken care of. Shes a bit hand shy, but once she was comfortable with me she was all about LOVE. In my lap, rolling over for belly rubs, snuggling in as close as she could, giving me kisses and happy to get them in return Mae is the most amazing snuggle bug. You cant help but laugh with her as she twists and turns to get the best angle for a belly rub in a lap that shes just a little too big for (as small as she is). Shes playful, fun and a total delight. Youll want to squish her little face between your hands and profess undying love for her as soon as you meet her.
