TO BE DESTROYED - SUNDAY -06/23/13 Manhattan (A0968946) ♥ REX ♥ ~ Owner surrender..he cries & looks for the exits .. Rex wants to go home. :"( The day Rex arrived, he was so lost, climbing walls, crying, looking for exits. He wanted to go home, owned all his life and well cared for, this beautiful, mature gentleman could not figure out what he was doing at the care center, away from his familiar surroundings and loved ones. Rex is gorgeous. His coat is thick, pure silk to the touch. His markings are very attractive. He looks healthy despite slightly cloudy eyes. Rex was surrendered into the care center because of housing issues. He comes with excellent recommendations. Today, was a better day for Rex. He was leashed without fuss. Our walk was a delight. It feels good to walk a dog who does not pull and walks by my side. He seems very much housetrained without marking his territory. He meets other dogs in a civil way even those who are pushy or not that friendly. Rex comes when he is called. He does run after the ball but I do not think he has the heart yet to fetch and play. He sits by my side as I command and seems to enjoy the caresses very much. Rex is a gorgeous dog who looks younger than his stated eight years. Probably good genes and excellent care. Rex needs to be home again and shares his life with a master or family he will bestow with his love and faithfulness.
