PLEASE SHARE! Pray for Eryne Shan today! She had been in the hospital since MARCH! I can not even imagine doing that! Her LAS score was reevaluated today and moved up making her have a high LAS score. It should put her on top of the list for her size and blood type. Without invading their privacy, I urge people to carefully consider becoming an organ donor. Eryne has a rare blood type and that could be causing the long wait for new lungs. She is a such a sweetheart, newly 23, engaged to an adorable man and has a Mama that is willing to literally give up EVERYTHING she has to honor her daughters wishes to continue to LIVE! ( Sound familiar? ) She also had a Daddy like John who was willing to take CF on. Those of us who have spent long periods of time in the hospital realize that the best care comes from a partnership with the nurses and moms. (And in ICU, we moms do a lot of work holding hands, doing bedpans and encouraging our kids to hang on.) Erynes mom lost her job because of Erynes long stay in the hospital. (Thats almost SIX months in the hospital!) Erynes went into cardiac arrest TWICE and came back five months ago. This girl is a CF FIGHTER! Please get behind her and this family and support them with your love, thoughts and prayers. I helped them establish a Go Fund Me page to help with their expenses. Ive been there. Its so hard to even think of asking people to donate when youve always worked hard for everything you have. Then transplant hits and you start to understand that even someone like Donald Trump would perhaps struggle to pay these expenses. My prayer is to see beautiful Eryne return to modeling. My bigger prayer is to see her walk down the aisle to marry her fiancé Michael and my biggest prayer is to see her live and continue her Journey. Again, please share! gofundme/451sf8
