A volunteer writes: When I first met her, I found Lisa quietly waiting in a dark cage in the corner... little did I know what a treat was in store for me! She is all muscle, but not difficult to walk and very well mannered. I am absolutely in love with her face. Her lips are sometimes pursed into a subtle smile - as if she is struggling to hold back laughter...and then she can no longer hold it back and opens her mouth to reveal easily the best pittie smile Ive seen! Lisa sits on command and seems housetrained. When weve encountered other dogs she seems interested and friendly. She likes to play fetch and will bring the ball back. Above all, Lisa is extremely loving and affectionate. She melts into me when I pet her and crawls into my lap to shower my face with kisses. Lisa is such a special girl!! She is so sweet, charming, and playful.
