TO OUR ADVISERS AND MY FELLOW ALUMNI: In light of the issues facing our Association particularly the Board of Director (BOD) Election held last Nov. 22, 2014, let me propose the following Options to address this issue: A. Option No. 1 - It is my understanding that there are still remaining seven (7) BODs whose term in office is valid. Therefore, why dont these BODs convene for an emergency meeting and decide who among them will temporarily become the President until a new set of Officers will be elected. Then these new set of Officers will elect who will be their Officers. I am not a lawyer but I have extensive knowledge of legal matters. I concurred with Election Committee Chairperson Jess Agacita that the recent election of BODs was INVALID due to violation of Section 1, Article IV of our UCNHSAAI Constitution and By-laws (see attached). Hence, the election of the four (4) BODs is illegal. Therefore, I am pleading to the incumbent BODs to schedule ASAP the date of the Election and the Ratification of the CBL with its amendments as previously approved by the Board. B. Option No. 2 - Back to Square One. The Alumni will ratify the CBL with its amendments as previously approved by the Board and elect a new sets of ALL the OFFICERS. In the meantime, we will ask our ADVISERS to manage and run the business affairs of our Association until a new set of ALL OFFICERS will be elected. I am open for any suggestions. My Fellow Alumni, let us preserve the integrity and good standing of our Association. Your prompt approval which of the Options above will definitely lead our association in the right direction.
